Twenty Inaugural Sponsors and Partners Announced

- The event will be held at Thirlestane Castle in the Scottish Borders between the 17th and 19th June in aid of Race Against Dementia, a global charity founded by Sir Jackie Stewart OBE
The Sir Jackie Stewart Classic – Presented by Rolex is thrilled to announce a bumper roster of seventeen sponsors for this all-new motoring event, to be held at Thirlestane Castle in Lauder later this month. The vibrant partner line-up will include a unique mix of family-friendly brands, Scottish and heritage partners, and high-level automotive sponsors at the cutting edge of design and sustainability.
The inaugural event, hosted in the Scottish Borders between the 17th and 19th June 2022, will see sponsors support a festival line-up of sensational live motorsport action across the weekend which showcases the career and achievements of three-time FIA Formula 1® Drivers’ World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart OBE all held in aid of Race Against Dementia, a global charity founded to fund pioneering research into the prevention and cure of dementia.
This years’ sponsors will include Headline Sponsor, Rolex, Official Sprint Race Partner – Graypaul Ferrari Glasgow and Edinburgh, Official Partners – AG Barr, Barbour, Brewin Dolphin, Convex Insurance, Elf, Glenfiddich, Ford, HSBC, Moët et Chandon, Rocco Forte Hotels, Thompson Quarries, Tunnock’s and Walker’s Shortbread and Official Clay Pigeon Shoot Partners – Beretta and Eley Hawk plus Film & Memorabilia sponsor, Gooding and Company. In addition, Loch Fyne will supply the hospitality areas within the event.

Across the weekend ticket holders will be treated to a plethora of entertainment, sporting spectacle and dazzling motoring displays including the Thirlestane Castle Sprint competition which will feature an amazing mix of almost 50 vehicles with likes of two times British Touring Car Champion, John Cleland, in his Vectra Super Tourer, a Ferrari 308 GTB/C and a display of Grand Prix cars and single seaters – as well as the Redbull F1 Display and Sir Jackie Stewart himself parading his 1969 World Championship winning Matra MS-80 02 F1 car.
Also on offer will be the Sir Jackie Stewart Experience a collection of Sir Jackie Stewart OBE’s cars and memorabilia to explore, extensive retail displays and an award-winning classic car show featuring many heritage, classic and contemporary vehicles and exhibits.
Alongside the rousing motoring activity, the weekend will showcase the best of Scotland’s culture. Allowing visitors to take a pit stop and enjoy local produce in the food and retail village, a chance to tuck into the finest food and drink or browse a range of arts and crafts. The event will be held in aid of Race Against Dementia; a global charity, founded by Sir Jackie Stewart OBE, driven to raise money to fund breakthrough and innovative research to find a prevention or treatment for Dementia. It is a disease which affects over 50 million people across the globe – including Sir Jackie’s beloved wife, Helen.
The event will also feature a silent auction, from which all proceeds will go to Race Against Dementia which will contain a plethora of prizes, including a Supercar Experience Day donated by Graypaul Ferrari.
