Graypaul Ferrari Edinburgh & Glasgow Become Official Sprint Race Partner

The Sir Jackie Stewart Classic – Presented by Rolex is thrilled to announce Graypaul Ferrari – Scotland’s only Officially Approved Ferrari Dealership for Sales, Service and Parts – as the Official Sprint Race Partner of the brand-new motoring event to be held at Thirlestane Castle in Lauder in the Scottish Borders on 18th and 19th June 2022.

The Sir Jackie Stewart Classic – Presented by Rolex is thrilled to announce Graypaul Ferrari – Scotland’s only Officially Approved Ferrari Dealership for Sales, Service and Parts – as the Official Sprint Race Partner of the brand-new motoring event to be held at Thirlestane Castle in Lauder in the Scottish Borders on 18th and 19th June 2022.

The family-friendly automotive festival will be held in aid of Race Against Dementia; a global charity, founded by Sir Jackie Stewart OBE and will showcase the career and achievements of the three-time FIA Formula 1® Drivers’ World Champion, alongside an exciting programme of live motorsport action – including the Thirlestane Castle Sprint competition, extensive retail displays and an award-winning classic car show.

The sprint will take place on the Castle’s sweeping driveway and will feature an amazing mix of almost 50 historic, classic and contemporary cars. Starting near the ‘Eagle Gates’, drivers will set off up the castle driveway and compete against the clock to the finish line located just before the Castle, with three runs taking place each day.

The line-up will include the likes of two times British Touring Car Champion, John Cleland, in his Vectra Super Tourer, a Ferrari 308 GTB/C and a display of Grand Prix cars and single seaters. The sprint track will also feature a parade of several of Graypaul Ferrari’s very own prestige catalogue of cars including the SF90 Stradale, 296 GTB and the Roma and Sir Jackie Stewart, parading his 1969 World Championship winning Matra MS-80 02 F1 car.

Fans of the prancing horse will also be treated to a fabulous display consisting of the stunning SF90 Spider, 812 GTS, 488 Pista Spider and the all-new 296 GTB on the Graypaul stand which will be featured at the heart of the event.

Alongside the rousing motoring activity, the weekend will showcase the best of Scotland’s culture. Allowing visitors to take a pit stop and enjoy local produce in the food and retail village, a chance to tuck into the finest food and drink or browse a range of arts and crafts. The event will be held in aid of Race Against Dementia; a global charity, founded by Sir Jackie Stewart OBE, driven to raise money to fund breakthrough and innovative research to find a prevention or treatment for Dementia. It is a disease which affects over 50 million people across the globe – including Sir Jackie’s beloved wife, Helen.

The event will also feature a silent auction, from which all proceeds will go to Race Against Dementia which will contain a plethora of prizes, including a Supercar Experience Day donated by Graypaul Ferrari.
